If this doesn’t make you stop, pause, and reassess your priorities and journey on this earth, I’m not sure what will.
I’d love your thought

After over a year with lawyers and trademarking, I officially got the gold stamp of approval in the mail yesterday. Yes, Women On The Fence is now a REGISTERED TRADEMARK.
Serious stuff.
But now, reality check– onto making sure my son’s bowling birthday party today with 25 of his four and five year old friends is all organized. That seems harder than work.
Things were getting a little heavy around here, so I decided to lighten the mood. Here is your Wordless Wednesday. And might I add, it’s definitely WORDLESS.
Here is the deal. Two of my friends forwarded me this video last night. I confess, I had to watch it twice. It’s just so, well… awkward, gross, funny, weird. I can come up with a million different descriptions.
This is from the show on TLC called Virgin Diaries. I think the title needs no explanation. CAUTION: Don’t forget to BREATHE.
Alright, now that that’s over, WHAT DO YOU THINK? For real. I’m on the fence here– is waiting until you’re 31 to share your first kiss even healthy? Human touch is a basic need. Confession: my favorite part is listening to the guy’s reaction. Too much!
I told you last week I was given an award for ‘Outstanding Achievement in Leadership’ for my volunteer work in my community. Here is a memory of that night.
I have been a volunteer for numerous organizations since the age of 18. I taught the elderly how to exercise in wheelchairs. I volunteered for years (up until I got pregnant) in the Emergency Department at the local hospital, bringing warm blankets to patients, or showing a fearful wife whose husband just had a heart attack, what room she can find him in. I have organized business cocktails, women’s luncheon’s, galas, mentored entrepreneurs, and worked with mentally ill children in the psychiatric ward at the hospital.
I’ve got it ladies. I’ve got my first case of writer’s block.
Ack!!
The best I can do today is declare a day off, and return when the fog lifts.
Got any cures?

The world watched this week as the drama unfold in Gaza and Israel, when kidnapped Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit was released from Hamas captivity after five years, in exchange for the release of more than 1000 Arab terrorists from Israeli prisons.
Shalit told a TV interviewer that he hoped his release would further the peace efforts and help end the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians.
Some have celebrated and cheered. Others are outraged that the government would release one man in exchange for 1000 prisoners to freely walk the streets.
