It is with great excitment and joy that I share this news today with you, my incredible Women On The Fence readers. This has been over three years in the making. If you have been following on Facebook or Twitter, you might have seen that I am starting a movement. Yes, a MOVEMENT. It was an AHA moment that hit me over the head like a ton of bricks. The Worldwide GET OFF THE FENCE Movement is coming!

Because Y’All Know I’m Fascinated…

With the whole Tiger Woods Saga. The rise of the chosen one, the fall of the chosen one, and now, the possible resurrection. And then, yesterday, the commercial. For those of you who haven’t yet seen Tiger Woods’ new Nike commercial, check it out here, so you can participate in the chat! As Tiger prepares for his return to professional golf this weekend at The Masters, one of his remaining sponsors, Nike, has created this new commercial using the voice of his late father, Earl Woods, giving him a kind of slap on his behind for his bad behavior.

Becoming A Confident Woman of Action

I love Tina Turner and everything she stands for – confidence, tenacity, resilience, woman of action. If I asked you who you consider to be a woman of action, what would you answer?

When I think about the woman I am and the woman I want to become, I realize that much work is to be done.  It’s true, I’m only 34, and I hopefully have many more years of life experiences and growth ahead of me, but I have such a thirst for knowledge and creating a better version of myself, it gets tiresome sometimes. I am constantly striving to achieve a life that’s meaningful, impactful, while still managing to have a kick-ass good ‘ol time in the process. It’s true that our life experiences help shape us into the person we are, but it is up to us to decide what version of ourselves we want to be in the future.
