Wordless Wednesday: Definitely Wordless

Wednesday, December 7th, 2011

Things were getting a little heavy around here, so I decided to lighten the mood. Here is your Wordless Wednesday. And might I add, it’s definitely WORDLESS.

Here is the deal. Two of my friends forwarded me this video last night. I confess, I had to watch it twice. It’s just so, well… awkward, gross, funny, weird. I can come up with a million different descriptions.

This is from the show on TLC called Virgin Diaries. I think the title needs no explanation. CAUTION: Don’t forget to BREATHE.

Alright, now that that’s over, WHAT DO YOU THINK? For real. I’m on the fence here– is waiting until you’re 31 to share your first kiss even healthy? Human touch is a basic need. Confession: my favorite part is listening to the guy’s reaction. Too much!

Confession Time

Friday, December 2nd, 2011

Alright. Today we’re getting down and dirty. Today, you are my priests, and I am sitting in your confession booth. (Alright, I’m not Catholic, but you get the picture).

Today is about thoughts, notions and ideas that I often wrestle with. I know that I am a devoted, good mother and wife, but sometimes, just sometimes, I take the shortcut. I feel like crap afterward, but in the moment, it sometimes feels like the only thing to do.

The purpose of my confession, is to get the conversation flowing. Am I alone? I am the only one in this world who feels this way? I’d like to know.

Soooo, here are Erica Diamond’s mom confessions, on the fence issues and dilemmas.

It might seem as though I’m working my way through the Real Housewives circuit, but in essence, my interviews are always to teach and inspire, you my audience.

To my readers, including the budding female entrepreneurs out there, enjoy my interview with entrepreneur and TV star Ramona Singer. This woman is right up my alley. We chatted on the phone and literally, within 25 minutes, I had everything I needed. She talks fast, she thinks fast, and well, Ramona really just GETS IT.

INTERVIEW: Erica Diamond Goes One-On-One with Actress Holly Robinson Peete

Thursday, November 3rd, 2011

I recently had the privilege and honor of connecting with a great activist and actress, Holly Robinson Peete. Perhaps you remember her from 21 Jump Street with Johnny Depp. Perhaps you loved her on Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper, or watched her on The Apprentice raise the most money in the history of the show for her charity. Perhaps you loved her on CBS’s The Talk.

One thing I know about this chick… she is a straight shooter, honest, lovable and kind. Enjoy getting to know Holly in my interview…

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Erica Diamond Sits Down With Sophie Grégoire Trudeau

Wednesday, October 5th, 2011

I recently reconnected with a childhood friend, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, who is as dynamic, passionate and capable as they come. If you are Canadian, you undoubtedly know who she is. Today, we are getting up close and personal with Sophie Grégoire Trudeau. Enjoy…

Not many people know this, but we grew up together in Montreal, two prima ballerinas dancing together for many years, both only children, both born in April 1975. It’s so fun to have reconnected with you. Tell us a bit about your childhood as well as your college studies and how you got into TV and communications (notably correspondent for ETalk Daily).

Wow, Erica. We REALLY do go way back (laughing).

An Ode To 11 Years Married

Friday, August 12th, 2011

Tomorrow my husband and I will celebrate 11 years married. Sixteen years together, 11 years as husband and wife. I’m 36 years old, so that makes me 19 1/2 when I first passionately kissed my man on a park bench, one hot summer night (watching two lesbians make out).

So for my new readers, who were not readers last year on our 10th wedding anniversary, here is our story…

There was a boy:
