Hello, I met you on Twitter today! I like the fact that you interweave your own cultural and religious points of view into your posts. I can really relate even though I come from a different background.

Getting back to Chutzpah, I think I have been having a lot more of that lately. When I saw how successful your blog was, I would have normally compared it to mine. Oh what can I say, I still did! Ha! But this time, I realized that you have been going at it for three years, while I have been only doing it for three weeks.

Beating yourself up as a newbie is not only unfair to yourself now, but also unfair to your future, successful self.

I often wondered, what can I offer anyone? I'm just a newbie! Recently, I saw a video by David Sharpe, co-founder of the Empower Network. His video was to help you break out of Newbie status. He said that if you keep focusing on the people at the top, you will find the first step daunting. So you focus on you and what you have to offer. I signed up three people and got over 250,000 impressions on Twitter. Not bad for the first month. This first month of work has taken me from wet behind the ears to crawling and starting to walk. I now have experiences that I did not have a month ago. Voila! I have value to offer others.

Everyone has something to offer. Often, it's the workplace that slams your self-esteem. You have wonderful, valuable opinions, that no one listens to, so you think that they don't matter. When you are running the show, you feel the same way. We have to have a paradigm shift that empowers us, not sucks our energy.

It's uncomfortable to speak up. Yet, the more you do it, the easier it gets. We seem to have forgotten these lessons from childhood, when we had to learn everything. We had to keep trying until we got it. Could you imagine if we thought as babies that walking was too hard so we gave up? Only a few people would be walking! The rest of us would be crawling around. How ridiculous!

I think it takes some conjuring up of Chutzpah to show it. We can do it. Thanks for showing us how it's done.
