Soledad will bi a great mentor for all the girls that she’s helping. Soledad is doing what in my opinion we as human beings are meant to do: pursue happiness and be a humanitarian as much as possible, not only with those close to you such as family, but mostly to those who are less fortunate than you. im sure that there are thousands od Soledades in the world who for as hard as she, but destiny chose Soledad to leave a mark in this lifetime and her essence and strive through all the girls she helps and the journalistic work she does. I wach her all the time here in Mexico on CNN international, and next week im getting an aditional cable carrier that has CNN USA just to catch her morning show. Soledad, you are a great example not only for women but for men as well, im making sure not only that my 10 year old daughter knows about you but my 13 year old son swell. looking forward to more great documentaries and dont feel bad that you cant dance, i cant either and i was born here in Mexico! As for the spanish you want to learn, just watch mexican soaps, hey, i learned english watching Mr.Rogers, the electric company, and the Brady Bunch! so you can too, but mostly listen to music in spanish, say Luis Miguel, for me it was the beatles and sesame street records! Cheers!

I admire Soledad so much – as a mother and the work that she does. Love that shes so humble and has accomplished so much. I’ve learned i need to sharpen my public speaking.
Agree, it’s about prioritizing and not balance!

Great interview Erica! So true what she said about making priorities. I truly believe that althought we are trying to balance our life, there is always something that need to be done in priority. Surrounding yourself with good people is another key to success. The only people allowed in my life are those who make me laugh:)
