Yesterday, we lost a beloved legend, American filmmaker, screenwriter, director, producer, novelist, playwright, journalist, and author, Nora Ephron.
Nora Ephron was best known for her romantic comedies and was a triple Academy Award nominee for Original Screenplay for three films: Silkwood, When Harry Met Sally and Sleepless in Seattle. Her last film was Julie & Julia.
I have been a long-time fan of Nora Ephron’s work, and today I would like to honor her by showcasing her words. A magnificent craftsman of words, she taught us much…
She was wise:

The scene from When Harry Met Sally in the diner when the older woman nearby says ‘I’ll have what she’s having’ is a classic. Nora Ephron will be sadly missed. We have lost a legend.

I loved all her books and movies. She proved that women writers can be brilliantly funny. It is weird to write of her in past tense.
