Lia, how very brave you are. At the end of the day, we are all trying to just do our best, to swim with the flow of the current. Sometimes we need to hold on, sometimes we need to let go. I trust you'll make the right decisions for your precious son. Thanks for always reading and for always adding such value.

Just walked in from a meeting and saw this post. The meeting was the three year reevaluation for special services for my son's autism. Though we have lived with the autism diagnosis for almost ten years, to sit at a conference table with well meaning specialists and have them tell you every way your son is different, isn't normal and isn't getting better is one of the most heart breaking things a mother can go through. As I sat there I was dying inside, worrying for his future, wondering how he is going to fit in, and scared about how I was going to handle it all.

Your post helped me to let it all go, the fear, the worry, and just helped me to remember we are all trying and doing our best. I will keep on, keeping on because that's what we do, we're moms-we go all in, every time.

Thanks, Erica! xoxo
